Support
I’m so grateful for all my readers and supporters. I’ve written for a public audience weekly—in some form or another—for the past 10 years. I’ve contributed to blogs regularly, local newspapers, my own blog, and now this substack. I write incessantly, it’s how I make sense of the world. So thank you for reading, that really is the greatest gift.
Supporting my writing
The best way to support my work is to share it with others. If you know someone who loves reading, gratitude, thoughts on life, food, seasonal recipes, and might enjoy this publication? Please share my substack with them. Also, if there’s something you want to see more of, please tell me…more recipes? More poetry? Photography? Let me know.
Membership levels
I don’t distinguish right now between the content of free and paid subscribers…maybe I will one day. But for now, being a paid subscriber is simply giving financial support to my creative endeavors. Thank you for that.
Gift me a book
I saw this on a fellow substacker’s page, it’s a wishlist for books…a book registry! If you want to buy me a book to indulge my tsundoku—the Japanese concept of collecting books that you’ll never read.1 To be clear, it’s more about book collection than being a hoarder. And, I do intent to read all of my books. I just love being surrounded by books. Feel free to buy a book from my wishlist.
Buy me a mocha
I also saw this on a fellow creator’s substack…you can buy me a coffee (or two).
